I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri (/ˈi̽lge̜t/ /vnil/ [fan] [skeleton]) is a temperate Large City located in the Krëchysnǟ Moot of the Rosid.
The name I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri is derived from the Sylvin language, as I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri was founded by Trtconkdo, who was culturaly Wood Elf.
Climate
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a yearly average temperature of 7°C (44°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool -11°C (13°F). I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri receives an average of 309 cm/y (121 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri covers an area of nearly 63 km2 (25 mi2), and an average elevation of 3684 m (12086 ft) above sea level.
Overview
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1164, by Trtconkdo. The establishment of I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of crampt flagstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city is in posession of a finaly crafted dwarvern style fortified fighting wall, completer with lower, middle, and upper battlments for use in sloped-fire defence stratagies, murder holes, and statues which may or may not be constructs, and, of course, MERTICULATIONSshortsizename is one of the wealthiest and politicaly connected settlments in the world.. The Ragnarock-era relics has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
A look arround I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri reveals an abundance of schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the city places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a library, which keeps a large collection of books, scrolls, and archives all manner of physical items. While not open to the public, the librarians and scholars employed by the library will assist anyone with their research needs, and wealthy individuals can purchase membership to access the library's materials themselves. In spite of being generally closed to the public, the library has a room with several Aether Linked devices available to the public during business hours.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri's natural decorations nor waterways.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri.
The Ovinnik near I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
I̽lge̜t-vnil Gri's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Invocation energies of tier 2 via oratory performances.
